Carol Wynne Benson
Carol Benson has played for outstanding orchestras across the US as
well as abroad. She was a member of the Swedish Radio Orchestra,
the Louisville Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Chamber Orchestra. She
was invited to tour Europe with Antal Dorati and the Detroit Symphony
and America with the Stockholm Philharmonic. Carol was Concertmistress
of the Monterey Chamber Orchestra and the New Mexico Chamber Orchestra.
She has soloed with a variety of orchestras and plays with the New
Mexico Symphony Orchestra.
Carol Benson recently performed in the Oregon Coast Festival as well as the
Bear Lake, and Flagstaff festivals. She has collaborated on the CD "A Day
Like This: with guitarist and songwriter, Frank Schultz. She has
performed in such outstanding venues as the Petroleum Club in Albuquerque,
the Rio Rancho Country Club and the Greenspring Coffee House of Pittsburgh.
